The United Nations has declared 2025 the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. The Rostock Art Association has been collaborating with the Institute of Physics at the University of Rostock for several years on projects at the intersection of art and science, focusing on light and quantum physics. It was therefore a natural step to dedicate the 2025 Rostock Scholarships to this theme. Four scholarship recipients each spent two months working in the Art Association's studio and at the university's institutes. The exhibition "quantum" showcases the results of this artistic research.
