Storytelling

The Exhibition:

The term storytelling encompasses more than simply "telling stories." It is the art of weaving information and knowledge together on an emotional level within a narrative.

Art can evoke moods, provide context, and tell stories—without a single word. Perspective, image composition, color, and lighting all play crucial roles. These fundamental elements of narrative art are essential for understanding visualized stories. Art always offers room for personal interpretation; however, it is important that the core content of the visualized narratives remains clear and intact, even if other, secondary interpretations exist.
Storytelling can be as subjective as our perception—"A picture is worth a thousand words"—and these perceptions vary from person to person.
The art lies in ensuring that the same story is nevertheless evoked in the viewer's memory.
